Hey Vertical Fam, If you’ve ever seen the movie you know exactly what I’m talking about.  I don’t know about you, but it seems like the same day is repeating over and over again!  Marj and I ran to Costco today to grab some stuff (no TP today) and on the way home I said, “I just want to go out for lunch!”  It will be so nice when all of this Coronavirus stuff is over!  I can’t wait to be able to have our services again and see you all!! Ok…we are going to continue this week in answering questions that you have asked me.  Here is this week’s question : When the Bible says, “God spoke” how is God speaking to them? Is there a voice reigning down from the sky?  Is God’s voice in their heads? This Sunday we will be streaming live on Facebook at 10:00AM and answering this question.  The links for Facebook are below along with our Youtube page where the sermon will post after streaming live.  Here are the links :

Finally, thank you all for your continued financial support!  In this very uncertain time it’s a blessing to see so many of you continuing to trust God to provide! Ok…that’s all I’ve got for now, I’ll see you all online Sunday morning! In Christ, -Pastor Matt

Hey Vertical Fam, Well…as promised…I have a little video for you!  I’m wanting to encourage you all during this time of uncertainty.  What should our response to all that is going on be?  What should it look like?  Below you will find a link to a video teaching as well as Philippians 4:4-7.   Also…This is a time when we want to come together as a church body and minister to one another.  So here is what we would like to propose. 1)    If you are in one of the high risk categories and are sheltering in place or if you have been sent home from work or are not working because of COVID-19 we would like to help.  If you need anything like food, tp, etc would you please respond to this email and let me know so we can figure out a way to help. 2)    If you are not in one of those high risk categories and would be willing to volunteer to take high risk people needed items, please respond to this email to let me know. My hope is that we can connect need with the ability to meet that need.  I also understand that there are probably quite a few of you off work, or maybe just struggling to put groceries on the table.  If that is the case, please send me your need and I will see how we as a church body can help. Ok…so…the video devotional is HERE.  Check it out and keep your heads up church fam…God is still on the throne! In Christ, -Pastor Matt

Philippians. 4:4        Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
